The Weekend Standard is a larger publication which includes Property Weekly, a tabloid sized publication packed full with over 80 pages of real estate listings from reputable agents; Job Market listings and a weekend extra magazine.

Run of Paper (ROP)
The Manawatu Standard's main book publishes Monday through to Friday. Sections contain News, World, Entertainment, Opinion, In Business, Sport, Weather, Births & Deaths, Announcements.
Saturday also carries a tabloid pre print of the Property Weekly section.
Tabloid inserts are carried on Thursday with The Guide and on Saturdays with Property Weekly.

How to calculate a rate
The Manawatu Standard publishes a multi level, colour exclusive rate card.
The rates are the same on Monday through to Saturday.
The August 2012 ratecard is attached.
To calculate your advertising/schedule cost take the rate and multiply by the advertisement size and the number of insertions required.
If you have a solus position or special loading such as colour add this percentage at the end.
The total is the ad cost amount exclusive of GST.

Advertorials
The Manawatu Standard do not publish advertorials. We do accept reader advertisements.
Reader advertisements must be entirely contained within a ruled border of a thickness no less than 5pt.
- The text may be set in ordinary news type.
- The word ADVERTISEMENT must be set in 14pt capitals and in bold, and must be placed inside the border at the top left-hand corner of the advertisement or centred at the top of the advertisement.
- Reader advertisements can be placed on any page other than the first five pages of Section A in any of our sections.
- Minimum pt size for reverse block and colour is 8pt.
