D Scene
With approximately 1 in every 2 people reading the D Scene each week, it's THE paper to be seen in if you want to target demographs in the Dunedin market.
It has an edgy reporting style, leading the way with breaking news stories - exposing local issues and being controversial when needed.
It's read by a higher proportion of educated professionals, who lead busy working lives and generally have a higher than average disposable income.
This large and lucrative market makes the D Scene the ONLY community newspaper to advertise in.

Newspaper Details
Dunedin is New Zealand's fifth largest metropolitan market and offers readers a range of choice in newspaper publications.
The D Scene was purchased by the Fairfax publishing group in September 2008, and it effectively targets adults aged 25-44 years in the mid to upper income brackets. It fills a gap in the market supplying a new style, weekly, tabloid size newspaper, providing a comprehensive read.
D Scene readers are likely to be leading busy lives and having to juggle responsibilities such as work and family. They are also financially aware and conscious of the world around them.
The fact that more than 47% of the Dunedin population choose to read the D Scene is testament to its strong hold in the market place.
D Scene provides a vast range of combination packages with discounted rates for repeat advertisements. Contact Katie Tucholski for further information, 03 470 4444.
Newspaper Display Advertising
Display advertising is located throughout the publication and utilises size, colour, illustration and typography to attract the reader's attention. Display advertising is primarily found in the editorial sections but can also be placed within classified sections if deemed appropriate and relevant.
You can request a preferred position within the newspaper for a fee or choose "run of paper" whereby the advertisement is placed in any position in the paper at our discretion. Opting for run of paper generally results in a reduced charge to an advertiser.
